WALKER CITY HALLLocation: Walker, Michigan
Completed: 2000 Size: 58,400 S.F. The City of Walker City Hall complex was in need of multiple additions and a wholesale renovation of the existing City Hall. The department of public works needed to double their vehicle storage capacity while their repair garage needed to have the entire roof and overhead doors raised 2 feet in order to accept newer and taller vehicles. The City needed new council chambers which were creatively designed with the council members sitting within a half circle. The entire existing city hall was renovated with a new layout and the new entrance lobby was detailed as an extension of the campus walkways to bring the outside elements into the building
