Location: Comstock Park, Michigan Completed: 2002 Size: 4,800 S.F.
The Independent Bank Branch in Comstock Park entailed renovation of an existing boat showroom into their flagship branch on a major commercial artery. The existing building was demolished down to the skeletal steel frame and one bearing wall. Rising from the ashes is finely detailed brick veneer building shell. A double gabled corner entry visually defines the entry and a five lane drive through canopy services the vehicular traffic. Custom detailed teller stations are set within a lobby of six panel doors, fluted casing and rosettes as well as ceiling light coves set off with built up crown molding.
