GEORGETOWN ICE CENTER

Location: Hudsonville, Michigan
Completed: 2003
Size: 88,000 S.F.

The Georgetown Township Ice Center will be a twin NHL sized ice sheet facility with 900 seats on one rink and 500 on the other.  Two dedicated high school locker suites and a collegiate club locker suite will be accompanied by 8 team locker rooms, 2 referee locker rooms and a dedicated women’s locker room. Public amenities will include 2 multi-purpose rooms, skate rental, concessions, large pro-shop, offices and a large lobby area with trophy cases and ample seating. Tournament bag storage is provided on both rinks to aid in reducing the clutter. The decorative pre-cast concrete tilt-up exterior wall panels are complemented with a dark blue standing seam metal roof and arched chord metal roof truss system and an expansive curtainwall system permitting daylight to reach deep into the lobby area.
